About us

Good Boy! Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service was founded in 2008 by Amy Frazier, a Cal Poly graduate who wanted to pursue a career where she could combine her love of pets with her aspirations of entrepreneurship. Good Boy! Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service has grown from a small dog walking business to a full fledged pet sitting service. We offer everything from  daily stop ins, vet visits, dog park trips, hikes, beach trips, basic obedience training, dog walking, and over night pet sitting.

Amy Frazier:  Amy is the Owner and Founder of Good Boy! Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services.  Amy has a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.  Amy has trained with the exclusive Hollywood Paws, LLC based in Los Angeles, CA; where she focused on animal acting training, along with basic obedience and therapy dog work. She has attended seminars by the likes of Victoria Stilwell (Host of Animal Planet’s ‘It’s me or the Dog”) as well as Jen and Steve White.  Amy works with clients on obedience and therapy dog work with a positive reinforcement technique along with a Pack/Alpha Mentality.  Amy has a calm energy with dogs, and believes in exercise, discipline and attention to keep a dog well balanced mentally and emotionally.  Amy is Pet First Aid and CPR Certified through the American Red Cross.  Amy occasionally provides pet sitting in her home in Arroyo Grande on a per dog, first come first serve basis. Amy is also the lead dog walker for Good Boy! Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service.  Amy’ services the SLO- Santa Maria areas for daily dog walking. More Sitters

 

Missy Beatty:  Missy’s passion for animals translates in her ability to make her pet clients feel comfortable while reducing stress for both the animal and owner. She believes in good old fashioned love, exercise and stability to keep her cuddly clients happy. Her stable, calming presence makes her a perfect companion for all animals, big or small. Not only is she great at what she does but the peace of mind her clients feel is invaluable.  Missy has years of personal and professional experience and has served several clients around the county. She is also comfortable with Pack Mentality living and training properties, and off leash walks at the owners request. She always uses Positive Reinforcement to perpetuate calm, loving environment.  Other services Missy provides include pill administration and availability during holidays.

Missy centralizes her service in San Luis Obispo. She also services Morro Bay, Los Osos, Avila Beach, Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande, but may be available for other areas as well.

Katlynn Beatty: Katlynn has always wanted to turn her love of animals into a career. She is going to start school in the fall to begin training as a Veterinary Technician. She is a fun, positive person and excels at taking care of animals! She will be serving all of North County.

Michelle Ewing:  Michelle's love for animals is apparent in her ability to make client's pets feel at ease in her presence. A calm pet is a happy owner! Michelle believes that prevention is the best way to keep a pet happy and healthy. Regular routines are important, and Michelle tries to go the extra mile to make sure there are as few changes as possible in each pet's daily routine. Exercise and routine feeding times are important. Michelle has several years of both personal and professional animal experience, ranging from her own dogs, cats and horses to a professional setting previously working in a Veterinarian's office. Aside from pet sitting, dog walking and overnight visits, Michelle is comfortable administering a variety of medications your pet might need. She is available for most holidays. When she isn't spending time with her own family and pets, she loves to spend it with yours!

 

Michelle is available for the San Luis Obispo area, but is also servicing Morro Bay, Los Osos and possibly other areas on occasion

 

Rachel has been around animals her whole life and she currently lives with seven dogs, ranging from Chihuahuas to a Boxer. Rachel formerly did volunteer work in Long Beach at the SPCALA animal shelter, where she learned basic dog training and grooming, and got a chance to match dogs up with potential owners. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys going for runs on the beach (occasionally taking a dog or two), reading, photography and anything else beach related. Additionally, Rachel also rode horses for about 10 years, and is comfortable taking care of large animals as well as domestic pets. “I love being around animals big or small and can’t wait to meet your dog!”

Brittany Darrow: Brittany has been around animals her entire life having grown up in a household that never had less than two dachshunds running around. She loves to spend time playing with animals of all sorts as well as walking and snuggling with them. Brittany provides a comforting presence to all animals she meets. She also has experience giving medication and has been through animal CPR classes through the American Red Cross. Brittany has been pet sitting for much of her life and is confident in her ability to befriend most any pet. She is a hard-working student and film connoisseur when she is not spending time with her furry friends. Brittany looks forward to meeting your pet and providing it a sense of security while you’re away! Brittany will be serving Paso Robles to Nipomo area.
